SKIMS Health Awareness Campaign at Green Valley World Health Day was observed in the Green Valley School in collaboration with the Department of Community Medicine SKIMS Soura Srinagar. Several doctors including Dr. Ab. Majeed Ganai, Dr. Beenish, Dr. Iqbal, Dr. Sameena, Dr. Rifat & Dr. Tahira held an awareness session with the senior students of the school and sensitized these boys & girls regarding the various health issues. The esteemed doctors passed on valuable tips and precautions that can save them from different types of ailments and protect them from various diseases that spread due to infections and sometimes assume epidemic proportions due to our ignorance or, at times, our negligence. The doctors amply and beautifully explained how health was really wealth and how healthy citizens alone can make a healthy and dynamic nation. The student audience listened to the learned doctors with rapt attention and sought a lot of information by posing questions to the learned faculty from the prestigious institution.
