In an endeavour to promote Swach Bharat Abhiyan “GEMINI GROUP” IEC Partners to Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) organized an intra school Poster Competition at Green Valley Educational Institute on Tuesday the 15th of May, 2018. The theme of the event was “THE 3R’s- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”. The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr. Hilal Ahmad Deewani, Secretary SMC, in the presence of the Guest of Honour Mr. Mudasir Hussain Banday, Chief Sanitation Officer SMC and Mohammad Yousuf Wani, the Chairman GVEI. Nearly 100 students participated and displayed their artistic skills in the competition which was conducted in 3 categories-U-2,U-15 & U-19. The competition was judged by an eminent artist Mr. Naushaad Gayoor who appreciated the skills of the young children and praised the participants for the excellent depiction of their ideas on the theme. In the felicitation function held later in the school the same day, the winners were awarded with positions and prizes as under:-U-12: 1. Najeeba 2. Khilat Nawaz , U-15: 1.Fazeelat Zehra 2.
